Enola Holmes 3 Trailer Reveals Sherlock’s Kidnapping Ahead of Netflix Release

Netflix released the first teaser for Enola Holmes 3, with Millie Bobby Brown returning as the young detective Enola Holmes. The film premieres July 1 on Netflix.

The trailer shows Enola enjoying life with Tewkesbury, played by Louis Partridge, until he proposes marriage. Before the wedding can happen, Enola learns that her brother Sherlock Holmes, played by Henry Cavill, has been kidnapped. She quickly jumps back into detective mode.

According to the official story description, Enola travels to Malta for a dangerous new case where her personal life and professional ambitions collide.

Returning cast members include Helena Bonham Carter as Eudoria Holmes, Himesh Patel as Dr. John Watson, and Sharon Duncan-Brewster as Moriarty. The movie is based on Nancy Springer’s book series and written by Jack Thorne. Philip Barantini directs the third installment, replacing Harry Bradbeer.

The first two Enola Holmes films were released in 2020 and 2022. Brown also returns as a producer, alongside her husband Jake Bongiovi.
