Isa Briones Urges Theatergoers to Stop Shouting During Performances

Actor Isa Briones has spoken out about audience behavior during her current Broadway show, asking fans to be more respectful in the theater.

Briones, who stars as Dr. Trinity Santos on the TV series “The Pitt,” is now performing on stage as singer Connie Francis in the musical “Just In Time.” On Saturday, she posted a message on Instagram criticizing people who shout comments during the performance.

She said that yelling things at actors is disruptive and disrespectful. In her post, she gave an example of someone shouting a line related to her TV role just before she was about to sing. She said this kind of behavior affects both the performers and other audience members.

Briones reminded fans that theater is a shared space and asked people to treat it with care and respect.

“Just In Time” tells the story of singer Bobby Darin and features a cast that includes Jeremy Jordan, who recently joined the show in a leading role. Briones joined the production on April 1.

She made her Broadway debut in 2024 in “Hadestown” and has since balanced both stage and screen work.

Meanwhile, “The Pitt” has become a major success for HBO. The show won several Emmy Awards for its first season and returned for a second season earlier this year.
