Nick said he once met with a director for a “big movie” but did not realize the person was also directing the film. During the meeting, Nick asked, “Who’s directing?” The filmmaker replied, “Me.”
“I wanted to die inside at that moment,” Nick admitted, saying he felt he had “screwed up” the meeting. He later called a friend who eventually starred in the movie and told him what happened. The friend agreed it was “tough” to recover from that mistake.
Nick did not reveal the movie, director, or actor involved. His brothers joked that it might have been The Passion of the Christ, but Nick quickly dismissed the idea.
The Jonas brothers are friends with several actors, including Glen Powell, though Nick did not confirm whether Powell was connected to the mystery film.
