Victoria Beckham Says She Has No Plans to Retire: ‘I’d Be Really Bored’

Victoria Beckham says she has no plans to retire because she loves her work and staying busy.

In an interview with The Times published on May 27, the 52-year-old fashion designer said she enjoys working with her team and would feel “really bored” without work. She also said she wants her children to see the strong work ethic she and husband David Beckham have.

Beckham first became famous in the 1990s as a member of the Spice Girls before building a successful fashion business under her own name.

In her 2025 Netflix docuseries, Victoria Beckham, she revealed that her fashion brand once faced serious financial problems and was “tens of millions in the red.” She admitted she made mistakes and said restructuring the company helped save the business.

Speaking earlier this year at the Time100 Summit in New York, Beckham described making the documentary as “a year’s intense therapy.”
