Emergency responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived after receiving a call about a 66-year-old man with an unknown medical issue. They treated him at the scene and took him to a hospital for further care.
A statement to TMZ said the incident may have been caused by overheating, and Rhames is now being monitored by doctors.
