Arizona Teacher Amy Beck Cleared After Investigation Into Resurfaced 2020 Video, Set to Return to Classroom Monday

A teacher in Arizona who was placed on leave will be returning to work.

Amy Beck, the mother of social media personality Noah Beck, will go back to her job at Coyote Hills Elementary School on Monday, May 4. The Peoria Unified School District said it reviewed the situation and decided she can return. Officials added that the issue involved videos from 2020 and that they have taken appropriate steps.

In a message to parents, the school’s principal said the investigation found that Amy’s actions outside of school did not affect her ability to do her job as a teacher. The school also emphasized that creating a safe and respectful environment for students remains its top priority.

Amy had been placed on paid administrative leave earlier in the week. The district did not officially explain why, but attention grew online after an old TikTok video resurfaced. The clip, which has since been removed, showed Amy and her son acting out a scene while lip-syncing to music.

The situation has drawn additional attention because Amy’s daughter, Haley Beck, was also involved in a separate case. Haley, who was a teacher, was investigated in 2025 over allegations of an inappropriate relationship with a student. She denied having a sexual relationship but was later fired.

The school district says the matter involving Amy has now been addressed and she will resume teaching.
