The EP includes six songs that mix rap and rock styles. North wrote and produced the tracks herself. Her music reflects some of the themes often heard in her father’s work, including fame, money, and luxury. At the same time, she also explores emotional topics such as loneliness and personal struggles.
One of the songs, “H0w Sh0uld ! f33l,” samples the 2006 track “Monster” by Meg & Dia. In the lyrics, North talks about feeling isolated despite wealth and success. Other songs on the EP continue this theme, with references to difficult emotions and inner conflict.
North also mentions high-end fashion brands in her lyrics, including Balenciaga, which previously cut ties with Ye in 2022 after controversial remarks he made.
Music has been part of North’s life from a young age. She first performed publicly at age 6 during a Yeezy fashion show in Paris. More recently, she has appeared on stage at her father’s concerts, performing in front of large audiences in both Mexico and Los Angeles.
Kim Kardashian has promoted the EP on social media, sharing links for fans to listen to the music and buy related merchandise.
Ye has not yet publicly commented on his daughter’s release, but he has been involved in guiding her musical interests over the years.
