Speaking at the opening of Schmigadoon! on Broadway, Strong shared how much she enjoys watching her daughter grow.
“She just turned one,” Strong said. “She’s not talking yet, but I’m excited to hear what she has to say.”
Strong has been open about her path to becoming a parent. In 2024, she revealed that she became pregnant through IVF at age 40.
Strong left Saturday Night Live in December 2022 after 11 seasons, making her the longest-serving female cast member in the show’s history. She was known for popular characters like Cathy Anne and her impression of Jeanine Pirro.
She also said she has not been watching recent SNL episodes because it feels too emotional. “It was such a big part of my life,” she explained. “I think it would make me too sad.”
Strong recently attended the Broadway debut of Schmigadoon!, a musical based on the TV series she starred in. She said she feels proud of the new stage version and is happy to support the cast and creators.
The show tells the story of a couple trapped in a town where everyone sings, and they must find true love to leave.
