Iman Vellani Says She Helped Marvel Catch MCU Continuity Errors During Filming

Iman Vellani says she regularly pointed out Marvel continuity mistakes while filming Ms. Marvel and The Marvels.

Speaking on the Revenge Of podcast, the actor said she wanted to catch plot holes before fans noticed them online. “I know the Reddit nerds are going to call it out,” she said. “You have the opportunity to fix it now.”

Vellani said Marvel producers listened to her feedback and gave her freedom to share her opinions. She added that the studio even used her as a “secret weapon” to help keep important MCU details consistent.

The actor has not appeared as Kamala Khan since 2023’s The Marvels, but rumors continue that she could return in Avengers: Doomsday, which is scheduled for release in late 2026.
