The 83-year-old comedian welcomed actor Jon Cryer to the show. The two had worked together decades ago on the 1987 movie Hiding Out. While introducing him, Behar brought up a problem she had while filming that movie.
She said the director, Bob Giraldi, treated her poorly on set. Because of that, she became very upset and started crying. Behar also said that later on, she spoke negatively about the director on television.
Cryer responded lightly, joking that things worked out in the end.
In Hiding Out, Cryer played the main role of a stockbroker hiding from the mob by pretending to be a high school student. Behar had a small role in the film.
The movie did not perform well. It received low ratings from critics and made about $7 million at the box office, which was roughly the same as its budget.
After that film, Behar continued acting in movies and television. She later appeared in projects like Hall Pass and Ice Age: Continental Drift, and also worked with director Woody Allen on a few productions.
Representatives for Behar, Cryer, and Giraldi have not commented on her recent claims.
