Russell Crowe Warns Paris Fans Against Pushing During Hotel Autograph Session

Russell Crowe warned fans outside his Paris hotel that he would stop signing autographs if the crowd became disorderly.

In a video shared online, the “Gladiator” actor told fans to avoid pushing and give each other space while he signed memorabilia and took selfies. “As soon as somebody’s a dick, I’m going,” Crowe said before greeting the crowd without security.

The actor later responded after TMZ described the interaction as unfriendly. Crowe wrote on X that everyone received autographs and photos, hotel access remained clear for guests, and he still made it to the airport on time.

During the signing, Crowe declined one fan’s request to add his character name, Maximus, to an autograph before moving on to the next person.

Crowe was recently seen attending the French Open in Paris. The incident follows similar moments involving celebrities managing enthusiastic crowds in Europe, including Anne Hathaway asking fans in Italy last year to remain calm while taking photos.
