Post Malone Cancels 6 Tour Dates to Finish New Album ‘The Eternal Buzz’

Post Malone has canceled six dates on his upcoming Big A-- Stadium Tour Part 2 with Jelly Roll, citing delays in finishing his new music.

The canceled shows were scheduled in El Paso, Waco, Baton Rouge, Birmingham, Tampa, and Oxford. In a message shared on Instagram Stories, the country star said he needed more time to complete his upcoming album, The Eternal Buzz.

“Truth is, I promised y’all beautiful people new music, and I don’t have the time to finish it before tour starts,” Post Malone wrote. He added that the tour will be pushed back by about three weeks to allow him to finish the project.

The singer apologized to fans who had already bought tickets for the canceled shows and said he was disappointed not to perform for them.

Post Malone also clarified that the decision was not related to recent controversy surrounding tourmate Jelly Roll. Instead, he said the schedule simply did not leave enough time to complete the new album.

The Eternal Buzz, Post Malone’s seventh studio album, is expected to feature 40 songs across two discs.
