Rumer Willis Says Bruce Willis ‘Lights Up’ Around Granddaughter Louetta Amid Dementia Battle

Rumer Willis says she is grateful that her 2-year-old daughter, Louetta, has been able to build a bond with her grandfather Bruce Willis as he lives with frontotemporal dementia (FTD).

Speaking on Maeve Reilly’s The Inside Edit podcast, Rumer said she enjoys spending time with her father and appreciates family gatherings during his health journey. She added that she feels lucky Louetta has gotten to know Bruce, noting that her younger sisters may not have the same experience in the future.

Bruce Willis, 71, was diagnosed with FTD in 2022. His family, including ex-wife Demi Moore, wife Emma Heming Willis, and his five daughters, have publicly supported him since the diagnosis.

Rumer also praised her blended family for staying close and supporting one another through a difficult situation. She said they continue working to maintain strong family connections.

In previous interviews, Rumer shared that both Bruce Willis and Demi Moore are very loving grandparents to Louetta. She said Bruce’s face “lights up” whenever he sees his granddaughter, while Moore enjoys spending playful time with her.
